FAQ

Do I need to unpack my fridge?

You should empty your fridge and wipe it clean. If items are left in your fridge food will go off and bottles & jars may spill or break during the move. If you are storing your fridge wipe inside with vanilla essence to inhibit mildew growth and leave the door open slightly. After moving your fridge to a new house leave it unplugged for a few hours to allow the oil and fluids to flow back into the compressor. Once turned on it may take hours and possibly days to return to its ideal cooling temperature.

How long will my move take?

This depends on so many things including how prepared you are, how close the truck can park to your door, traffic, weather, if you have stairs etc.

How much notice do you need?

It is a good idea to book your move as soon as you know the move date.

Are there any items you won’t move?

We do not move items that can potentially be dangerous eg corrosive, inflammable or explosive goods such as gas bottles. Petrol should be emptied out of mowers etc.
