Here are some tips from EJ Shaw to make your moving easier.

1. Be ready! A lot of valuable time can be wasted while our staff wait for you to finish packing.
2. Tie up all of the cords of your electrical appliances, once again to save you time and money.
3. Write on the masking tape you use to close up your boxes. That way, we will give you a credit for them when they are returned.
4. Packing your dishes:
   Line the boxes with crushed paper before you start. Place all the glasses with more crushed paper and stack them upside-down in the boxes. Place more crushed paper around them. Remember, if things don't move when the box is shaken, chances are they'll arrive intact.
   Wrap plates in crushed paper and stack them on their side, not flat.

Yes, we carry a policy with Associated Marine Insurance which covers any damage and minor perils.

When do we pay?

On completion of the job.

As soon as you know your date for moving, contact our office.

What size truck do you have?

We have several trucks from a compact two tonne truck to a large semi-trailer. We'll use the vehicle most appropriate to your belongings and location.
